one day as the night sky shone bright with stars i heard a strange rustling outside.
I stood up with so much fear that i was drenched in sweat.
I looked outside and found a shadow upon my neighbor's walls.
Then as misteriously as it appeared it was gone from my sight.
But then a terrified scream broke the silence of night.
Then in an instant it was silent.
I hid as best as i could under my window until the only thing i showed were my eyes.
i searched around looking for an explanation for what i had heard but to no avail.
I suddenly heard steps upon my neighbors ceiling.
I looked up to see two shadows.
One seemed to be that of my neighbor john but i couldn't recognize the other.
One shadow seemed to be trying to run away but eventually was thrown off.
i could heard the thud of my neighbor's body as it hit the gravel.
I looked up to gaze at the other shadow but was amazed to find that it was already near the other.
The mysterious stranger seemed to gaze down at my neighbor for about a minute until it turned around in my direction.
I hid under my window.
my heart racing extremely fast with horrible thoughts of my neighbor's demise.
As i slowly rose to gaze at the shadows i found that only one shadow was there.
The stranger's.
He looked at me with paralysing eyes and smiled.
I could make out his shining teeth and blue eyes which seemed eerily similar to me.
Lightning struck down where the stranger stood and he disappeared into smoke.
As i called the police they told me something that still haunts me to this day.
John's eyes and teeth were missing.
