I get my Left Kidney taken care of ( same procedure/ surgery ) as I had done to my right kidney, including a stent put in again if I remember correctly.

May 5th, 3:15 pm central time, Ill go into the Ambulatory Waiting Area ( me & my parents. ) at the Hospital.

Ill get signed in at registration, an wait to be called to the prep-office ( paper-work, permissions, notices of any meds that affect my abillity to coherently function after the procedure/ surgery. )

I then get my wrist tag for patient identification, an then go to wait in-patient med prep room.

I get called I get my vitals taken by a nurse, ( BP, Weight, Oxygen Lv, Height ) an medical questions everyone gets asked about ( allergies, anything medical going on at present, any sicknesses at present, piercings, health history concerns.....ect. )

Im in the med op waiting room, I put on a gown, foot booties, clothes stowed away as neatly as I can in a carry bag.

The nurse gets an IV set up ( I hope not on my hand again...it hurt crying ) I hope my arm like usual IV's go.

Then I wait for time to go in, my Mom & Dad come an sit with me till time...

When its time the Anesthesiologist comes in an says what he will do. Pain Meds + Putting Me "OUT"

I will see my Urinary Dr. to who will give an overview of the procedure/ surgery an be the acting Dr, performing it. ( the 1st one I remember there being the Dr, Anesthesiologist + 2 nurses on hand as I went "OUT" )

It was like 2 or 3 seconds of black nothing then awake... a daydream then awake an in n-patient med prep coming too an being checked on by a nurse ( I assume they regularly check to make sure your awake. )

Once Im awake an concious, and Im Not in incredible pain an lastly I can go bathroom. I can pt my clothes back on an go by wheel chair to Ambulatory Waiting area to get in the car an go home.

Hopefully once home I can rest an start meds an drinking water, lots of it again an exercises to help any stone residue to come out.
