So, I discovered that a lot still remained of the old Gaia, and I'm not talking about site features. I discovered forum and guild posts that go back to when I first started. I didn't think I was really active in the forums, but I guess I was more than I thought. It's amazing to see that I was way more social then than I am now, but I guess that may have been before the social anxiety set in. I wasn't afraid to be vocal. My style has definitely changed a lot as I'm starting to be more social but am timid about it. I also discovered my intact profile, full of musings of my teenage self. I had to edit it a bit as I had images covering the writing. Rather than remove the images entirely, I simply moved them off to the side. The only thing I did remove were the broken images that no longer exist. The images that did I believe belong to my Photobucket, which I didn't even know was still a thing. God help me if I can remember my login info and I'm pretty sure that the email tied to it no longer exists. It was kinda weird to read the writing of my teenage self. The profile was like a time capsule. The writing was simple, to the point, and expressed my views and likes of the day, many of which still hold true. I honestly don't know how to feel about this as I felt that my teenage self was lost long ago. And yet, here it is. It's not in complete form, but it's the essence of who I was, right at the center. I came for the nostalgia trip, but I ended up getting so much more.
