You never know what you'll get from the twisted mind of Sexy Scully
Innocence Dies
well, this is another school assignment. Certain ellements were required, such as an allusion, at least on simile or metaphor (like she had to ask) but above all. Where most of my poems hold a piece of me. This one poem is required to be about me. period. I wrote a few other poems, and presented them to her, she threw them out as not being personal enough-she knows me too well. And just as an Authors Note: I want to study wolves, thus the symbolism there

A new story,
So a new me
A new mask
For a new play
Everyday

Fake a smile
Play the game
Try to find myself
Then look the other way
Everyday

The wolf prowls
Deep in the forest
An innocent dear
Slakes hunger
Everyday

But why should
I be that wolf
Stalking among
My peers like Death
Everyday

I look around
All I see are
Untouched/ untouchable
Innocents
Everyday

Inside I
Can see this pure, precious,
Perfect little girl
In white satin
Everyday

She looks at me
In tears. She fades
She dies, but I
Can’t stop living
Everyday

The wolf smiles
A mother to its cub
The canine grows strong
And true to its nature
Everyday

The mem’ry
Of that sweet child
Shall always haunt my
Mind, I should be her
Everyday

Dear God, please
Give me strength
Like Jesus versus
Satan in the wilderness
Everyday

But the pure
Perfect little girl
Has died, and I
Can feel myself fade
Everyday

That wolf
Like all before it
Will survive against my will
But I will hold it off until
Another day.
