My Step-Grand Father Is Going To Die Tomorrow. |

I just saw my step-grand father a couple of minutes ago in the hospital. He is 88 as of now, and right now he's on Life Support. He didn't have a heart attack or anything, but his body just said, "I'm done!," and he sorta, fell asleep. This happend yesterday, so i'm sorta, freaked out, that all this happened so quickly. He was liveing in a garden home with my step-grandmother while I was with my mother in her apartment. I don't really know much more about this, but I just heard all this information today. This was the last time I was ever going to see him alive, and he was only in a coma. They said he was going to be put off Life Support tomorrow, so I just had to see him. I dressed in my best clothes, that were still comfortable for me, and me and my brother drove down to the hospital where he was. Everyone seemed happy, then said, then happy, they just kept switching back and forth. I just sorta stood near grand father, thinking about him, how little I knew him. My father had married another woman, and this woman had parents who were still alive, a first for me. My grand parents were always dead before I was old enough so that I could hold them as a memory, and this man was the closest thing I had to a grand father, one that I could remember, that I could love, and be loved back from, but I didn't know him for very long, mabye half of a school year. So when I heard he was dieing tomorrow, I grieved inside so much. This is the prayer I gave:
Grand father Charles Forester, you are the closest thing I have ever had to a grand father, that I could hold as a memory, that I could remember, that I could love, and be loved back from. You may have not been my real grand father, but you gave me the joy of loveing you like one, as you loved me as a grand child. I pray that you rest in peace, in God's name, Amen.
I hope he's happy when he's in heaven, and I wander if he'll say hi to Jesus for me when he gets there.
