I am home again. I like my home. I like it a lot. I missed the 94% humidity . . . not really, but I do find the heat comforting in some odd way. I really missed my Casper. He is so cute!
Our exchange student's here from Korea. Very excited for this year. Bittersweet, however, as I'm not looking forward to the actual schooling bit. I still have to read Catcher in the Rye. I'm told it's a good book, though.
Other homely things include my truck, which I missed, my pool, which needs to be cleaned, and the lovely little park behind my house that has a swingset not to far in. I missed my swing. That I did.
It's amazing how much you miss home without even knowing it sometimes. I really had no problem with the beach and the afternoon storms. Really, I didn't. To be quite honest Nebraska didn't cross my mind too much the past two weeks, but now that I'm home I could never be so glad.
I'm hungry. This entry will be over now.
