Apparently Drizzt Do'Urden has had a hard time of his life. I was never aware of how much priority was placed on him by those of the Underdark, though I can imagine why.
We grew up to hate anything that was not Drow, and to distrust our fellow kinsmen. Drizzt, my brother, was not this way.
Nor am I it appears.
I spent the day reading of some of his exploits, mostly of his battle against the whole of Menzoberranzan and of the first Matron Mother. To think he still lives after battling such incredible odds.
I can only hope I have as much courage as he, to face the trails of life. I can only hope I survive them as well.
