I walk down an empty path...
I can see other paths, beside my own...
People traveling them...walking...jogging...crawling...whatever they want...
In groups...
Couples...
Friends...
Family...
Mine however...feels empty...
I turn my head to look behind me...
Seeing things I want to forget...
I look ahead to see confusion...things I am unsure of what I want...
Many paths connect...
Many paths join...
I see those connenting paths on my own...yet...
No one seems to travel to my path...
Will I be alone forever...?
Wait...I...I see some people...
Some turning to take my road...my path....
Who...what...why?
Why are they...?
W-wait...I know some of these faces...
F-faces...I have hurt...returning...
Faces I have...left behind...catching up...
And now...new faces I am learning to see...showing up...
I...I feel...different...like my pain...is slowly moving away...
They...they seem...to be helping...
B-but...how?
I mean...why...?
I feel confused...lost now...
I fall to my knees...holding my head...tears rolling down my cheeks.
I shout go away...leave me alone...
Yet...they still come...
I feel hands helping me up...
Brushing the dirt and dust off...and wiping my eyes from the tears...
They are helping me to my feet...
I gaze apon the friends I have...
seeing no road anymore...
Yet...they move to the side...
Showing a new path way they have open my eyes to...
I slowly take that first new step...
Afraid...of what might come...
Yet...not as nearly...as I have my friends behind me...
I have helped them all in the past...
No matter how much pain it brought me...
No matter how much tears fell from my eyes...
No matter how much sorrow I left...
I still helped them...
And now...as I walk ahead of them all...
I feel as...
As if...
Its there turn...to help me...
