I've been working at a Boy Scout/Cub Scout Camp for most of the summer At camp we finished Boy Scout camp and are moving on to Cub Scout camp. Kids in Cub Scouts are about between the ages of 6 and 10, they are very draining, but very fun to be around with and talk to. Mainly because they think you the most awsome bunch of people in the world and really look up to you. So you can have some of the best conversation ever and they will listen in awe and never give you any smack, well that happens 95% of the time, I still get the few trouble-some kids.
The adults, they're parents are some times a diffrent problem, they are for the most part new parents, and are really over protective of they're children. I work on the Waterfront as a life gaurd, and we do swim checks to determine they're swimming capability when they first get to camp. Well, the adults come out and start making they're own varyations of what they're children are supposed to be doing to make it easier for them. It really gets me hot under the skin to think they can come out here and start making they're own rules. It ticks me off greatly. Grrr!
