Today was pretty crazy... I went swimming in the pool this morning, and it was just so nice. So warm and then we went down to the beach and picked up some cool shells, the shells here are really nice too, and the water was warm and nice and it's so clear here. We came back inside later. We had nothing to drink here and I was just so thirsty I was going crazy. So I decided we needed to g o grocery shopping. xp Easier said than done. Nebby's little cousins are annoying and they hog the only free golf cart around, insisted that it's theirs. If you're like six years old and you tell me that the golf cart belongs to you I'm not going to take you seriously. But they were all uncooperative because their mothers weren't around. So finally we're able to get a ride on the golf cart to the grocery store and they just leave us there. I swear these kids have rocks in their heads. But we got what we needed, soda and some microwavable frozen stuff. And we had no way to get it back here, we started to walk and Nebby dropped the soda everywhere, and the frozen stuff was getting hot. So we tried to rent a golf cart, and the first place asked me for a million things, credit cards, driver's license, all this legal crap and they said I wasn't old enough to drive it because of their insurance. And yet I own my own car and drive it all the time, I think I know what I'm doing. But at least they told us to go to the other place. That one was better, I had to sign and fill out a long paper and show my credit card but she didn't even ask if I had a license or what my age was, and didn't make me fill out the whole paper. And we go it for cheaper than we would have at the other place, which was only renting for the day, while this place said we could rent it for an hour. So we finally got the groceries home. Driving the cart was fun, kind of weird though when I'm used to driving a normal car. Of course we had to return the thing in an hour, and there was the dilimma, how are we going to get home again? So I thought I'd just keep it until tomorrow and pay more. Well we went to the community center so Nebby could upload her art and I went to the site for the town that has the webcam and gave the link to Kaz and told him to watch for us in our red golf cart. XD So after that we drove down to that corner in the town and Kaz texted me and said he saw us. I parked and then we stood on the corner near the camera and did silly things like walking all over the road just to make sure we'd be seen. XD And luckily Nebby's aunt happened to drive past there and saw us and said she'd drive us home. We also saw a huge frog at that corner, on a tree. It was absolutely huge. I haven't seen one that big in a very long time. We saw a few iguanas too. So we turn the golf cart back in and we get a ride home. Sat around here online for a while until dinner. Went to have snacks outside and then dinner, and then cake since it's Nebby's little cousin's birthday. Yeah, too much food for me. But oh well. I mean, last night we didn't have any food and were living off goldfish crackers. XD They went out and set off fireworks on the beach after that, and now I'm back inside. Well I got some pretty nice pictures of the gulf today too, so I'll upload those soon.
