December 21, 2004 I really hate Gaia's events. They are always a pain. Stupid time limits, and other stupid crap. And how you have to go to five people to get something. So now there's one gift that I just can't get, because I keep losing count. They can never make things easy. They have to make the events a headache, rather than something fun, and I'm sick of it. Why can't they have a simple advent calander or something, like other sites? No it's always something complicating and annoying. My friend would not shut up today. Always asking me a question every five minutes, usually one I don't have an answer to. She wants to come and get her gift. I wish I'd lied and said I didn't buy it yet. She bothered me for hours. I don't mind her coming over, in fact I'll be glad, since I'd be bored and by myself otherwise, but she didn't have to keep bothering me about it. And the only reason she really wants to come is to get a gift. rolleyes

Heh.
I like the events.
They have to make it complicated so that the prizes they give away will become a part of the Gaia economy.
If they made it easy ( and this event is pretty easy ), then everyone would have the same item, and it would be useless.
This way, only the people who put the time into getting the items will have them. So, if anyone else who didn't put the time in wants one, they'll have to pay for it, and so the Gaia commerce will not crash.

Anyway, I hope your friend stops being a pain. 'Cause that's no good. neutral
