Santa sat down on his favorite overstuffed Lazyboy recliner, pulling out a roll of parchment. With a quick flick of his gloved wrist, the parchment unrolled and scrolled down to the other side of the room. His beety eyes peered through the thin pair of elf-made bifocals that rested distinguishly upon his bulbous nose. His smile faded and he frowned under his straggly white beard as he came to the name of his favorite person. She was on the naughty side of the list.
"What is this rubbish?!" he exclaimed. "Why is Mel on the naughy list? She's such a sweet girl...there must be some kind of mistake." A plump little elf waddled up to Santa's recliner and snatched the list away from him. Looking over the names on each side of the list, he scratched the back of his head and frowned.
"I made this list myself," the elf said. "There's nothing wrong with it. If she's on the naughtly list,...then she must've been quite bad this year."
"Oh dear...I suppose you're right. What on earth did she do? As far back as I can remember Mel has always been on the nice list. What could've happened?"
The elf pulled a clipboard with some scribbled notes on it. He squinted at the astonishment of his own bad handwriting. Regardless, he managed to find what he was looking for. "Here sir...look at this." The elf stood up on his tip-toes and shoved the clipboard infront of Santa.
"Mel...charged over $300.00 in phonecalls over the past two months?! Oh dear...this is terrible. I mean, I know she's a teenager...but dang!"

Yep, that's right. I charged over three hundred dollars in phonecalls over the last couple months...and my mom is ticked. So basicly, I'm grounded...from nearly everything! Woohoo....
