The Devil’s child Chapter Two: The Angel’s story
I bet you all know the story of Adam and Eve and how they took the fruit right? Well this isn’t about that tale this is about a whole other person. Yes his name is Adam and yeah of course he’s from Heaven. Why would I mention the Adam and eve story if he wasn’t? That would just be pointless.
Adam floated down from the heavens and landed as gently as an angel should on the earth’s ground. He had never been on earth before but he knew everything that should go on. He was a pure angel. He wasn’t a death angel. What that means is he wasn’t a human and then died he was just an angel that had never come from earth.
Adam looked at his clothing. It wouldn’t do for Fragment City. They didn’t wear such elegant clothing and he wanted to blend in. as he walked to a store in the city he thought about the quest that he had been given. He was supposed to stop the Devil’s child from crossing over and wreaking havoc on the whole world. Well he didn’t really think he could stop the child from coming up from the underworld but he did think he could stop the child from its duties.
Adam walked out of the store in clothing that looked like what the humans in the city worked in. As he was walking he saw a woman wearing next to nothing. He told her he would get her some clothes and she could stay at his place. Yes he did have a place. It was from the other angel that had succeeded in stopping one of the devil’s children from killing the world.
The lady said her name was Katherine. Why did that name seem so familiar? Adam couldn’t remember but something about he seemed different from the other humans but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. Oh well he would figure it out soon. He had a month to do it and so he would figure it out soon. They then paid for the clothing he had bought for her and left to his place.
