A heart is just an organ is it not?
Does it not just pump the thick liquid we call blood through our bodies?
Is it not just flesh inside flesh?
It can not feel
It can not have emotion
That is our minds is it not?
When we are in love it is our minds creating that feeling
Not our heart
Our hearts are just there
To keep us alive and living
Yet... I watched you leave
And I feel my heart breaking
They say you cannot die from a broken heart
If you take that literaly you can.
Without a heart you will die
With a broken heart you will die
For the blood will run still in your veins
My heart is beating
Yet i feel like it has stopped
My blood still runs through my veins
Yet i am cold
My heart is still whole
Yet it is broken
I am in pain
Yet my mind created it
I do not understand this
How can this all be so
I dont think its true
