there becomes an interest in restricting access
how can anyone advocate for themselves when their options are unknown?

a lot of people are bad at recognizing logical fallacies
even though some people memorize them as a tool of dismissing their opponents
while failing to critically examine their own personal assumptions

i wonder how effective it would be if kids proofchecked their own papers and suggested a grade to indicate their confidence in their work. if they're concerned about performing poorly, why? is their self-image grounded in reality? do they care?
I think very few children struggle in school because of some innate unsurpassable shortcoming. Unattended emotional needs, financial strain, unreliable access to essential resources in addition to unrealistic expectations in work assignments
school requires labour from its students
wealthy students outsource labour
private tutors streamline studying
test results are bribed & plagiarized
a lot of "genius" is just Wealth
certification alone is an appeal to authority
