	chessiejo's Journal i need a place to not worry about being nice and polite and just express the inner self now and then. i feel like there is nobody who really understands me because i don't fit neatly into any group. i'm a christian but also a seeker. i like sports

i like to walk at night, and there is a house i pass three blocks away (when i am not walking the hills instead) where a table lamp is always lit on the porch. always! there is no car there, and in winter there are no tire marks or footprints. yet that light is always on! doesnt the bulb ever burn out? its been over 2 years, and i have never seen anybody there, yet the light never goes out! ooooooo.... chessiejo · Wed Jun 28, 2006 @ 06:37pm · 6 Comments

	i took up stranded wolf's idea and paced off the distance from the house to the corner, and then went around the block (it's a big block, mostly woods) and paceed backwards from the next corner until i should have been by their back yard. the block turned out to be very wide, over 300 feet; i could see behind the house i was near, the house with the ghost down over the hill, with it's weird light glowing. it was at least 200 feet down the hill, and there was no road or path to it. 	Maybe there is somebody there but you just don't know it, because you're not always looking at the house. And maybe in winter there might be footprints but a new blanket of snow covered it.
