Ello all! One of my best buddies and I went to see Benji and Joel perform live *accoustic*.

After driving for more than 3 hours, we FINALLY made it to the Uptown theatre in Kansas City. The concert was to start at 6:00 P.M., and we had gotten there at 5:30. While my friend Margot and I were standing in the crowd *which wasn't that many people*, two girls came up to us. They asked us if we were there to see Benji and Joel. Yes, of course we were. They told us that they were going to go to the front, and wanted us to come with them. We of course accepted their offer. While the DJ was playing some music, we danced our way to about the 4th row.
The DJ then took the microphone and introduced Tyler Hilton. He was ok...not really my favourite... After he was done *which was in about 15-20 minutes*, we had to wait for about 20 minutes for the next act. The DJ came back, and introduced the next act, which was someone who I really wasn't expecting to be there... Aaron Carter. Now, I've never been a fan of his. But when he came out, he actually did pretty good, I'll even admit. But that didn't mean that I was some swooning fan. A few people left the semi-pit, which let us move up. We were now in the 3rd row. Aaron walked over to where we were standing, sat on the edge of the stage, and put his hand out over us. Everyone grabbed his hand, while I pinched it. *I don't know why... I just had the erge to pinch his hand. lmao*... (I might want to add, that these people weren't that excited about anything. They didn't really scream or do much... Most of the people there were only there to see Ryan Cabrera... But anyway...back to the story). So I have now touched a famous person that I really didn't want to touch. lol.
Next, came Vanessa Carlton... She was very good....But I really couldn't pay attention to her... Because a certain person and his twin were backstage sticking their heads out behind the doorway and waving to all of us... *For all of you that didn't guess, it was Benji and Joel*. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw them. I was so excited!
When Vanessa was done, we waited for yet another 20 minutes, while the crew got the stage ready for ze twins. My heart was pounding so hard. I could barely wait. They turned off the lights, and three DJs from the radio station that was hosting the concert came out, as a spot light came on them. While they were talking, Benji and Joel would both jump out from behind the curtain. It was hillarious! *But teasing...lol*. They then introduced them, and the lights went all the way off. A recording of "Once Upon A Time:Battles of Life and Death" started to play. They then walked on stage, while the lights were still down. The lights went up, and the crowd went crazy.

It was one of the best times of my life! I got kick a** pictures, and I'll try to post em on here! ^_^

Some of my favourite things that happened when they were on were:

Benji: teachers! boooo!!"
*crowd boos*
Benji: Good Charlotte! YAY!!!"
*crowd yays*
Benji:STD's! BOOO!
*crowd boos*
Benji: Candy! YAY!!!!
*Crowd laughs histericly*

After he kept naming things off and saying yay and boo, I started yelling "JOEL! JOEL! JOEL! JOEL!" over and over again. Margot then joined in. Joel smiled and said "Those girls want me". That was seriously one of the best moments in my entire life.

So Joel then started going "This side says Joel! This side says Madden!. JOEL! MADDEN! JOEL! MADDEN!". Benji then said "HAS! DIAREA! HAS! DIAREA!" Then he started singing all the diarea songs. It was great. icon_xd.gif

Another one of my favourite quotes was from Joel: "If we lived in Kansas... would you guys date us?... But ya know, I'm really not feeling like driving tonight".

Joel took off his MADE hoodie, to reveal a TIGHT *and when I mean tight, I mean TIGHT!!!!* Level 27 shirt. ^_^ *I got a pick of it, don't worry*

Benji: Let's give it up for Vanessa!
*Crowd applause*
Benji: Tyler!
*Crowd applause*
Benji: Aaron!
*crowd applause*
Benji: *spreads his arms out* ME!!!!
*crowd applause like crazy*

Before singing "Girls and Boys":
Joel- "I wrote this song about Tyler Hilton's sister..." *Benji looks at him weird* "I'm dead serious. Tyler Hilton's sister"
Benji- "...It's not Paris..."
Joel- "oh..."

They sang:
"The Anthem"
"I Just Wanna Live"
"The World is Black"
"Girls and Boys"
"Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous"
and "Hold On" (which Margot and I cried during)



I also realized that the moms at the concert were MUCH worse than their kids... I got elbowed bout a hundred times. And I almost got taken away by a security guard! Just because this one lady said that we took her place. Well, she moved back, we thought that she was leaving, so we took it. But, I did let one mom and her daughter get in front of me, because this girl was really set on seeing them. I thought "yea...I'm tall enough, It's cool, I can still see them. I'll let the girl have her day. She's probably been waiting for this". So I moved. It made me feel better bout myself. *nods*.

Anyway, the concert was Freakin awesome.

At one point, I was an inch away from touching Joel. That would have been awesome.
