Mysterious deaths have suddenly plagued the city of Kyomoto. People have ended dead in the strangest of places and with the most bizarre deaths from mass suicides to getting impaled by sharp objects. The only thing found beside the bodies are their phones. On their phones was a red app that has a a picture of black star on them and with words flashing,"You have failed. Now all your secrets will be revealed." This set the city in an uproar as fear plagued the city. Everyone was told that if a mysterious app shows up on their phone, they are to report it to the authorities and hand over their phones without touching the app. It wasn't safe and they didn't want anymore mysterious deaths. However despite those rules, people continued to touch the apps and more deaths were raking up by the day. Kyomoto declared a state of emergency to try to help cull this disaster, by banning all electronics and imposing a curfew.

Sadly cellphones couldn't be completely taken away. It still ended in the hands of everyone else, so it forced the authorities to take matters to into their own hands and try to limit the access to the apps on the phones. It proved helpful, but it still wasn't enough to stop the strange rash of unexplained deaths. So there was still fear within the city and no hope of trying to stop it. All the leads led to dead ends and more and more people were getting drawn into the sick game before meeting their demise.

However one day, a group of eight students find a mysterious blue app on their phones with a white moon on it. When they touch the app they are pulled into an unknown realm, where a part of themselves were brought to life, after interacting with a strange entity that told them what they are suppose to do. The eight students are brought back to reality and form a club to share ideas and create a plan to stop they one beyond the app. However the deeper they probe, the stranger and more dangerous things become. Each carry their own past sins and this new threat could threaten their very existence and shatter any bonds they have formed? Can they stop the app or will they fall victim to it's cruel game as well.
