Turns out my fridge is known to have faulty switches on its control panel, making it think that the button is being pressed all the time.
As soon as I finished work, it's time to get rid of this problem.
I can replace the control board for $99, or I can just "fix" the problem now by removing the faulty switch. Lucky enough the switch is for child lock, so to remove the faulty switch it is!

While tilting my head trying to unscrew the panel, I felt a SNAP followed by a jolting pain! Somehow I managed to twist my neck! I've spent hours working upside down fixing my car and I've never had this happen, but now a 5 minute job and I've messed up my neck.

I struggled to remove the switch as now my neck hurts like hell when I tilt my head down. Good thing the work involved was minimal.
The fridge is fixed for now, but now I can't turn my head left because of the pain. I'm no longer an "ambiturner"!!!
