I'm now Derek Zoolander While getting the zOMG Easter event ready, my refrigerator decided to become a beat box and starting playing its chime randomly. It's not an annoying chime, but after hours of chiming it was driving me crazy! Turns out my fridge is known to have faulty switches on its control panel, making it think that the button is being pressed all the time. As soon as I finished work, it's time to get rid of this problem. I can replace the control board for $99, or I can just "fix" the problem now by removing the faulty switch. Lucky enough the switch is for child lock, so to remove the faulty switch it is! While tilting my head trying to unscrew the panel, I felt a SNAP followed by a jolting pain! Somehow I managed to twist my neck! I've spent hours working upside down fixing my car and I've never had this happen, but now a 5 minute job and I've messed up my neck. I struggled to remove the switch as now my neck hurts like hell when I tilt my head down. Good thing the work involved was minimal. The fridge is fixed for now, but now I can't turn my head left because of the pain. I'm no longer an "ambiturner"!!!

Poor Lanzer, I'm sorry I laughed a little bit despite myself. I've done similar thing to my neck before. Best thing you can do is rest and make sure your neck is supported well when resting. Maybe put some pain relief rub on meds on it? Feel better!

I hope your neck feels better, and I'm sorry it's the tiniest of repair jobs that did it. That always feels like the case, really. I'm glad you got the beeping to go away, and thank you for showing us pictures of what you did. More pictures next time, discomforts allowing. I love do-it-yourself type fixes.

I feel ya, I have issues looking to the right, although it's much better after a couple of surgeries and a lot of physical therapy, it definitely affected my ability to be an "ambiturner" on the motorcycle...hopefully, you'll be able to resolve yours much more quickly!

If this doesn't get resolved quickly, please see a doctor. After all, these kinds of problems are...wait for it...a pain in the neck! rofl

Anyhow, wanted to thank you for getting the Easter event up (and early, too!), looking forward to playing! biggrin
