Ok, so I have been a member of Go-Gaia/GaiaOnline since Dec 10,2003. Yes I am somewhat of a super oldbie. 3nodding This has been my favourite website forever, I try to quit and I always get drawn back, I get stressed out and go on many hiatus' but this is the calmest place I can be while online.
I remember the original Gaia, simple, very cheap forum like. Not too much to do, server crashes everywhere.
The next update was the best.
Now I have no problems with all the new games and stuff they integrated but here is my take on the
NEW LAYOUT! Dun dun dun!
So first off go to the main page of gaia. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colour change of gaia, I detest pink, orange is my baby. 3nodding <333 But what the ******** was going on in the heads of the admins with the new banner? Are we on Vacation? Isn't this supposed to be a JAPANESE ANIME themed website? I'm slightly lost on this.
WHy is my avatar so tiny? Gaia to me is a big dress up game at times, and I can't even see my damn avatar! Why is my name and gold count so far away from it?
What I do love is the PM, TRADE, etc boxes at the top of the screen. Makes it much easier to see.
Navigation is a bit more difficult with all the clicking and the open space at the top is kinda hard, but I use toolbars anyways so it doesn't affect me.
The white space doesn't bother me at all, it makes gaia less...squishy like.
I hope all the criticism people have been giving out is helpful.
PLEASE STOP BASHING THE ADMINS WORK! Give helpful feedback. These changes were made to suit your needs, not to purposely piss you off. Get over yourselves.
