Eternal Flame
Deep within me a flame rages
It scorches my very soul
Causes so much pain
Darkness settles the flame
It nullifies the pain
Giving me a feeling of security
But the flame never dies
Somewhere in the darkness it awaits
Awaits the the light that will revive the flame
Revive the pain
This ever lasting flame will live on
My only relief is the darkness
The darkness that will never be eternal
The darkness that will always fall into the light
The darkness that is my security
This pain will never go away. . . .
