The Dream.
Here I am again, its just as it always is. I don�t know how I came to be here and I don�t remember who I am. I�m alone, as always, it starts just like this.
That hill in the distance is as lonely as I feel and it waits. Then she is there. I stare up at her and wonder who she is. She looks around in a circle before she smiles at me. Ah, that smile. I�ve witnessed it a thousand times, but every time I see it, it feels new. I�m taken away by that smile, it makes me not worry about who I am, makes me just want to be me.
But her eyes betray that smile. Her eyes hold secret knowledge; she knows what is to come and fears it. Her eyes hold a sadness that takes me away from my revere in her smile and force me back
into reality. Her eyes hold a depth that captivates me and keeps me there, wondering what she knows and why she is so sad. I want to know her.
My feet that felt like led before finally react to my command to move. I step forward toward the hill and the woman who watches from it. I move for her, only for her, she is my reason.
Then the darkness comes. It flows over everything, covering the brightness of the hill and turning all to night. It takes her away from my eyes. In her place are the glowing eyes that hold more hatred than I can stand. I try to look away, but the eyes keep me in place. I am forced to stare into them and feel the anger and fear that is there.
The ground is suddenly gone and I fall, I fall l into a deeper blackness than is possible to imagine. It covers me, it is me, and it is forcing itself into my very being. The air is consumed by the terrible nothing that I am surrounded by and emptiness fills me. My lungs scream for air, but the nothing has taken it. My life feels as though it is part of the nothing as well, it is being consumed along with me. I am nothing.
