extra information: I chose the name Alba not for the slut of an actor that I hate. ^_____^. Alba is italian for dawn. It's quite symbolic of what direction I would like the character to go in as of this point. Please understand that all of this information is suited for change at any time seeing as many of the details of the story behind this story is constantly changing. Also this is the first draft of the character.
In reading what material has been posted, this sentence stood out to me a great deal.
To gaze upon Her directly is an honour, for it is not unusual for her face to be partially hidden by Apollus' jealousy and her hatred for him.
I thought to myself, 'well such an honour would be from both of the Gods would it not? Both would have to be in agreement about something seeing as Apollus and Lunaris would have to be getting along somewhat. Or that is what I think at the moment. >__>;;
Such a person would be seen as a gift to those who worship Lunaris and perhaps as a curse to those who follow Apollus. This was when something else stood out to me.
It is but once every thousand years during His reign that His mind is plagued by Lunaris' image, casting the world into darkness prematurely.
Could the events of one setting gaze to Lunaris be related to the world being cast into darkness? Is this event actually needed (those that have played Tales of Phantasia may know what I mean) to keep the world in balance?
However I do not think Alba would be a sacrifice, but rather the one to call upon Apollus and to actually plague his mind. After all, very few know the image of Lunaris. But I know you are asking 'well that would make her extreamly powerful!!1!!!1 GODMODER scream '
Well...no?
Alba would have spent her time studying, reading, training and becoming cold to others. She has a task, the task it set and she must complete it. What happens after the task? Well as said

but as to what that means I do not know. I am still working on this part. XD
I do think that many young girls (I'm thinking girls) would have been chosen to complete the task. However after much testing and training only one would be selected. I do think that both sides would work together however.
And that is where my idea for my character slides in ^___^
Alba was contstanly watched by an Apollite priest as to make sure that she did not stray from her goal. The problem with this is he was not so certain of what exactly this goal is, if it is needed, if something will happen to her ect ect ect.
Now to skip ahead I think the whole test is one of faith. Does Ally (that's what the priest calls her >ww< wink truely believe in all of this, does she want to continue with the task, what really happens when the world becomes in darkness, what would happen to her ect ect ect.
I know it sounds like another character from another game however there is a very big difference. Alba is not as dedicated as one would like to believe. Perhaps she is not a follower of Lunaris after all???????
As stated this is all in constant change. However this is my simple idea. The problem is it sounds far too much like another character. XD
