w00t! Finally leaving tomorrow! I shall be gone for a week, so don't die of boredom in the mean time. lol j/k j/k. I might die of boredom in the car, but other than that, it'll be cool. I can read my summer reading. Tess of the D'Urbervilles. I hate the book alot, but it's okay. Too much stuff that I don't quite get. And she's just so torn up about what that stupid fool did to her, thinks it's her own fault. Oh...just like...um...wow.....didn't see that before.
Yep, so fun summer reading. Also, since my mom has a portable DVD player, when she's driving, I get to use it. So, how many times do you think I can watch The Hunt for Red October on the way up? It's 2hrs and 15mins long. heart I've got the whole beginning memorized, in English, that is. They start in Russian, then switch to English in the middle of a Bible passage. Then they start singing at one point. It's great xd The guy in the American sub who was tracking the engines loses the Soviets b/c the Soviets have a silent propulsion system. He tells the captain that just after he lost the ship, "I thought I heard..." "Heard what?" "for a moment, I thought I heard--singing, sir" xd You heard right, man. Great story, great story. It's so tempting just to fall back into old patterns, to stop fighting these desperate screamings of my mind and let what will happen. I shouldn't, but omgosh it woud simplify somethings. And make everything else so much more complicated. I've compromised so far, saying that I'd stop fighting when school starts and it's not as obvious, but that's months away and I'm not sure I'll last that long. As it is, I already gave in once. That's one time too many in my book. Optimism! Optimism! Learned f-ing optimism!! hmph! So f-ing irritating, reading those damn books at the library. Can't think why I do read them, since they're of no help. I mean, HONESTLY.
