It's always sad going to a funeral, but it's confusing when you go to your first one. I didn't know that I'd have to look at my dead friend. That image of him, unmoving and lifeless in that coffin, is imprinted in my head. I am happy that I got to pay my last respects to him and his family. I would have regretted it if I didn't go. Well, if there is such a thing as a Heaven, he's there.
