Just a piece of my heart, placed upon these words.
You may not know its me
but Im the thing that keeps you safe at night
You may not believe
but Im the one watching for you in this life
Some may not think its true
but right now I can reach for you in my heart
Some may say that I look blue
That I look depressed, worried and sad
Some say that Im dead
that you killed me when you left
but I know that instead
All of this was for the best
For now I dont say I love you
I say that I need you
For now I dont say that I miss you
how can I? If Im always within you
And this poem might be unsensical
and maybe badly rhymed
But our hearts are identical
only that my heart is yours and yours is mine
With this last words I depart
to the land of dreams that take us apart
and away from this world of darkness
Where we can love each other
through the time that is endless
