Sigmund shares almost nothing in common with his namesake, other than the fact that it is difficult to take him seriously. Sigmund is actually a genius amoung Idle Thoughts, since most of them cannot even send simple emotions, much less mindspeak to their owners. Although his vocabulary and grammar skills are crude, he generally manages to communicate successfully with those around him. When Jedi's egg appeared, he decided to take on the role of surrogate "mommy" to the Dream.
