Agoraphobia

It's late at night and I'm afraid to go outside.
I don't like people anymore.
Could be daytime on the other side of that door, but.
I don't like people anymore.
The man wants my lifeblood.
Money and land aren't enough.
He wants my piece of mind.
He wants my head.
Alive or Dead.
He'd rape my grave to get a little more.
I don't like people anymore.
I don't like your Wal-mart.
I don't like your Jessica Simpson.
I've done all I can do out there.
So I'll just stay in here.
I don't like people anymore.
I tried once to be like you.
To talk like you and walk like you.
All that hard work got me nothin, but poor.
Yet you...want more.
So I'll stay inside .
And hide.
Cause I'm scared of the rich people.
I don't like them anymore.
They want my piece of mind.
They want my life.
But they can't have it.
If I never go outside.
I don't like people anymore.
They have and have and they want more.
The haves and have mores run all the stores.
And the media are whores.
I don't like people anymore.
I don't like your MTV.
I don't like your shopping spree.
None of that was made for me.
I don't like people anymore.
I don't like your TV shows .
Your "Cribs" where people I've never heard of show off the money they made.
For making words rhyme.
All the time.
I can do that too.
But no ones paying me.
So this line won't rhyme.
Cause it's free.
And it's just for me.
I don't like people anymore.
Your men hit your women.
Your rich spit on your poor.
I don't like people anymore.
Your Halliburton which you'll all vote for
Has left me hiding behind this door.
Cause your rich get richer by stepping on the poor.
I don't like people anymore.
I know what's on the other side of that door.
A booby trap.
A contract.
That says you get my soul.
If I step outside.
So me and my soul will stay here
And hide.
