Speaking of hurting myself (see previous post)...
I burned myself on three spots on each hand today.
Definatly NOT on purpose.
I was at work and Heather was putting the fresh out of the oven bread pans onto the cooling rack.
She set a very hot pan on the corner of the counter and I turned around to grab it, thinking that it was one that was already cooled.
Boy was I wrong.
Heather saw me reaching for the hot pan and said something like, "No that's a hot pan," right as I touched it. Two seconds later I realized it was hot and, if I do say so myself, did a rather splendid job switching it to the other hand, and somehow not dropping the hot pan that just got out of the oven. I saved four loaves of bread. w00t! Go me!
Anyway...nothing else really happened today, though I did unintentionally scare my manager xd
I got in to work and I thought for sure she would have heard the bell when I came in, but she didn't because she was counting things in the freezer. So, I went over to the little closet office, hung up my purse, and as I turned to face the freezer she was coming out, but she was looking down at her clipboard. She looked up and shrieked, jumping like three feet off the ground. It was hilarious! I guess you had to be there.
