"AAAAAAH! ONE MORE WEEK OF SCHOOL AND THEN I'M FREEEEEE!" For some strange, strange reason, I have the feeling that this is what is going through nearly every highschooler's head at the moment. Unfortunately, the downfall to this wonderful achievement is the fact that all of next week will be finals. And yearbook signing. YAY FOR 3 POUND HARDBOUND YEARBOOKS! Seriously, the school needs to reconsider this. Technically, I suppose, the yearbooks could be considered weapons. You could knock somebody out with one of these. Unfortunately, another downfall to the prospect of freedom does exist. We have been allowed to roam, but have been placed in shackles as if to ensure our obediance. (Wow, I'm nearly poetic today...) These vile shackles are none other than "summer homework". Us poor peoples taking Honors English and Humanities must suffer, sadly, under a staggering pile of crap to do in our "free" time.
As Gary once said, "...freetime is an illusion. It's what you get when you die and the gods reward you for a life spent working from dawn until midnight."
Man oh man was he right. sweatdrop
