Yay! Today my Honors Humanities and English classes went on a fieldtrip to see this one artist at work and some pieces of art that other Shoni people of Africa have done. It was all very beautiful and I was very impressed. heart Before we left, we were presented with gifts of hand-carved/sculpted necklaces of Ancestor Spirits. They are very cool. Then, we being the wonderful students that we are, we presented them with a $100 that we put together for their fund. It was pretty cool, and I had a great time. Now, I am at the library with nothing to do but a little more of my geometry homework. It's this weird assignment about distorting images. It's pretty cool so far, but I'm stuck on the last part. Seeing as how its only 35 minutes after school got out, I have plenty of time 'til Mom comes to pick me up, so I'll kick around and procrastinate for a little bit longer. whee I'm so bad, I know. Maybe my friends ARE rubbing off on me. I've been feeling a little more rebellious than normal. eek
Anyway, I think I'm going to go find a board to mess around on for a little while. Or maybe I'll go read a book. I mean, after all, I AM at a library. rofl
