You would see them and you would know that it was love. It was the way they looked at each other, the way they held their hands and walked slowly together. All it took was a soft kiss, or a rough kiss if that's what they wanted. The first rule of love is consideration.
They would often do things together, or not if that's what they wanted, and they would watch movies, they would choose what they wanted to watch together, sometimes they couldn't decide on the same one, but they compromised, because the second rule of love is consideration.
They had intimate moments together, like most couples, but what really made them love each other was the conversations they had, the feelings they got when they were together, when they saw each other, when they spoke about each other to friends.
The third rule of love is no lies.
Sometimes, they couldn't stop telling each other they love each other and they would even dream of each other. They would listen to love songs and immediately think of each other. There was no shame between them.
The fourth rule of love is no excuses.
They grew close to each other until a point where it seemed like their love slowly became tamer, but they were just more comfortable around each other. They would still consider each other's feelings and talk from time to time, but as all things, life goes, and suddenly, they became part of each other's life.
The fifth rule of love is to maintain stability.
