Ah, this is my very first journal entry, made on (in my time) the 8th of december 2004, around 19.00 pm. Some time ago i made a livejournal, it still exists, but it has been a while since I last posted there..I kinda forgot about it and I didn't know what to type and all..not that I know now what to type, but my hands just 'fly' (no comment >_> wink across the keyboard and type stuff, so I just let them, because you never know! Perhaps I'll type something less cliché like this with actually correct spelling..haha not that that is going to happen anytime soon. As you perhaps have noticed, English isnt my motherlanguaga, or is it called native language in English? I am in fact dutch and somehow I like English better than Dutch. At school we are taugh English, but also French, German, ofcourse Dutch, Latin and Greek. You can choose whether you want to follow Spanish and/or Russian classes. I don't. Perhaps you have already thought of it, but I'll just say it; It is a grammar school, not one in a school community (I really don't know the right word for it..) I'm in the 4th Class now..I don't know what grade it is in America..But you go first to a primary school, which has 8 'groups' (like 8 classes, but I'll just call it groups otherwise it will be confusing later) after this you have different kind of schools you can chose from, well you can't really chose, because in the 7th and 8th group you have to take tests to see which school fits you the best. I went to a Gymnasium, which is the 'highest' kind of school. It has 6 classes, other schools have 4 or 5. So I have gone through 8 groups, 3 classes and I am now in the middle of the 4th class. Fun isn't it?
Perhaps the only thing that is a bit less fun is the amount of homework we get..*sigh* but then again it is good, because by forcing me to make homework I actually learn stuff, like school is suppossed to!
