I bit my lip and pulled my legs up to my chest as he walked into the room. He smiled softly at me and a ribbon of crimson danced across my cheeks. I buried my face in my sleeves.
"Don't look at me like that." My muffled voice sounded. I heard his footsteps draw closer, and then he knelt down in front of me.
"What way?" he inquired as he pulled my hands away and lifted my head. I tried to pull away but couldn't. My eyes just rested upon the floor as I replied.
"Stop looking at me like I'm the most beautiful thing ever." He chuckled and slowly lifted me onto his lap, hugging me.
"But you are the most beautiful thing ever; at least you are to me." His cheeks grew warmer against mine. My flustered figure burned even redder as my heart began pounding against my ribs.
"N-no, I'm not!" I pulled away, fumbled to my feet, and walked over to the door. He fallowed. I stopped short as his right arm reached past me and closed the door.
"Yes, you are: stop denying it." I was forced to lean back against his chest as he wrapped his arms around my waist. His soft, warm lips kissed my cheek. "I love you."
I placed my hands over his and nuzzled my forehead against his gently. "I love you too, more than anything." His faint heartbeat sped up as I spoke those words.
His slender arms shifted and slowly turned me around. I placed my hands to his chest and smiled nervously at him. He lifted my left hand before me and kissed it.
"I promised you forever when I gave you this ring and I meant it."
I blushed and pulled him closer, embracing him gently.
"Then forever will I be yours." I replied before pressing my lips to his.
