so for a long time i've been planning on buying myself a new computer, cuz mine is just OUTDATED. 7 years old! D: i need a new one, that's all mine and never was a family machine, that i can work with big resolutions on and have more space on and can watch movies on and play WoW on and all that. @o@ a NICE computer that will last me a good long time. (as long as they can these days, anyway.)

i have the money now, have for a while, and so now i'm just trying to actually PICK a machine, and all that rot. I know how to USE computers, I don't know a thing about hardware T__T; so it's been.. yeah icky. i've learned a lot, but still, as with any big purchase i'm really e__________e about like, idunno, getting something bad.

and i keep trying to talk to my dad about it but he's all "EH NOT RIGHT NOW" and i'm getting really impatient x_x even if i order it from the place he wants me to get it from, it'll be like weeks before i actually get it. i just want this all taken care of so i can start the monumentous task of transferring my s**t and installing things again! gonk crying
