Light and wind streams through the window
as I sit here all alone in the darkness without you
and i remember the thought that we may never meet again
and i try to hold back my tears right then
but yesterday we entwined pinkies and promised
"We'll meet someday"
and as I remember that precious moment
that only included a few words
it still means so much to you and I

When i was worn out from crying
you held me and told me everything was going to be fine
and no matter what had happened just then
i would always believe
now what will i do without you here by my side
in this strange new place?
the paltform begins to move, and i see you in the distance
growing smaller and smaller

if this goodbye was only for a trip,
i'd give you my best smile
but since we are not
i cannot bear to but i'll try for your sake
i won't ever forget that one small promise we made
on the snowy and dark day
and i remember you were my one ray of light
through all that darkness i endured.....
