My parrot said his first word! It's 'Peekaboo'. See, parrots often get scared when they are alone and they squawk or yell to try to find you. What I do to stop that is, every once in awhile, I'll poke my head around a doorway to his room and say 'Peekaboo!'. So now he says 'Peekaboo' when he wants attention. That's his only word so far, but he also whistles and makes kissing noises. Anywho, I thought it was pretty exciting especially since he's just over a year old.
