took colorful to the vet for her annual exam and shots. she was not happy. i had to put her in the pet carrier backside first otherwise she would go on top of it and everything else. when we did get her there she did not want to come out and as was as far back in the carrier as she could go. the vet didn't give her shots, but gave him permission to take some of her blood so we could find out what's going on. she's having a hard time gaining weight and also been vomiting. they did the kidney test right there at the center, and some of the levels are higher than what they should be, but it's not at the point where its a lost cause. he asked me whether or not to send her blood to des moines to get it tested for her thyroid. i told him to go ahead so we can try to figure out what's going on. he also said we won't know anything til about friday or saturday.
