Sooooo...Went and saw the hiring manager at walgreens. Because I've known the girl that gave me the recommendation for twelve years (Aka, Meg, mah bestest pal in all the universe) it would be a bad idea for them to hire me. Even though I've worked with Meg before at the barn and there was nery a chore left undone, a bucket left unfilled, a flake of hay not tossed.
Anyway, had an interview at the local Hannaford. Took there reading test and all. fudged on the year on the tax type document...oops. I put my birth date at the bottom where I was supposed to put today's date. My bad. Aaaannnd I didn't have any white out it was done in pen. I just crossed it out and put this year above it. I feel stupid. I look fantastic though!
