The Back Horn

The dream I envisioned as a child
I wrote as 'A College Student'
I was scolded by my teacher
for having such a mature dream
A happy home environment,
crammed into my mouth forcefully
my mother laughed as she said,
"it's not about what you want"
I don't wanna be here anymore,
and I don't wanna go to school
When I said I wanted to go to war
I was struck hard on the cheek
mom, dad they both tell me to get tough, to try harder
Can you see me? Someone find me
There's nowhere I belong. Nothing to do but laugh but,
I'm not made to smile, my face just contorts in ugliness
I beat upon those below me with my umbrella
Made myself feel a bit better. Will you chide me now?
