"It's better to love and loss, than never to have loved at all."
I don't know who orignally said this quote.
I don't know how I feel about this quote anymore. I used to think it was better to not have loved at all, but I was just looking through a friends profile, and reading some old PMs he sent me, and I now know what the quote means. It leaves you with fond memories of the fun times you two had together. The great memories. blaugh heart
But you're also left with the memories of what tore you two apart. sweatdrop The pain of remembering those "good times" and the knowledge that you'll never have it again. stare The intamacies shared, knowledge about one another noone else would ever know. After exposing so much and loosing the only one person you could ever really open up to, makes it hard to be able to open up to another in fear. Fear of having, hold, enjoying what's then only to loose it again.
If I've ever experience what true love was I'd hate to loose it again.
eek I'm sorry y'all who actually read this. I went on depressy for a minute. It's nothing new.... if you REALLY know me. I was going down 'memory lane' today, thinking about one of lost friends. I'll stop now.
Sometimes I really do think it's better to not have loved at all. No one ever stays.
Some may say it's a learning experience stare <sarcasm>right</sarcasm>.
