Blackout
Raindrops outside
All in safety reside
Pitter-patter echos in my head
Lying here on this old bed
Dreaming of summer
When life is fun
Starting to slumber,
But homework's not done.
Staring out the window again
Watching single drops of rain
When suddenly someone runs by
A huge wave flying behind
Hair of brown, eyes of green
Is all of him that could be seen.
I'm laughing as I open the door
He races in as it starts to pour
"Thank you, it's really wet out there,"
He says to me as I stare.
"What?" he asks, casting off a wet cloak.
"Haven't you ever seen someone soaked?"
"Loki-sama! it's really you!
This is...a dream! But it's true!"
A sweatdrop appears on his face
An embarrassed look that's out of place.
"What?" Now I'm confused too.
"You say it's me... But it's you!"
"Me? What do you mean?"
"I've...your face... I've seen...
In...a dream! But you're real!"
He stared at me and I stared black
'Til suddenly all went black
A blackout, and we're both afraid
So here in each others' arms...
We stay.
