I stood and waited for your return.
I never let you leave my mind.
I knew if I was good enough,
you'd return on your own time.

I'm studying the human body, and researching
bizarre things.
If hair could be like feathers.
And if humans could grow wings.
I know it may sound stupid.
One of the many weird things I do.
One day, I will grow wings and fly straight to you.


I tried talking to animals.
Like squirrels, wolves, and cows.
My bird impression is so good,
you won't know who made the sound.
I know this may be silly.
To me, that's okay.
I'll get these clever animals to point me in your way.


I want to be a dancer.
I want to show my moves.
I'll "tap tap tap" along with you as we get in the groove.
I know you aren't a dancer.
I've heard that once before.
But tell me what you'll do when I "tap tap" at your door.

I want to be your lady.
I'll do what I can.
I'll cook and clean, and dance and smile and
be your biggest fan.
I may burn up the cookies.
But, hey! I'm human too.
Just think of all the good things I'll learn just for you.

I'm standing at your doorway,
waiting for your return.
You'll be happy, excited, surprised to see me!
As far as I'm concerned..
I'll be your lucky lady, the new gal in your life.
As soon as this restraining order expires, I'll be your new wife. heart
