I flew down to Earth. God had been spawning some "humans" there. He sent me to check on them.
Things were not quite as expected. Some of the humans had been selling their souls, making it nearly impossible to go to Heaven when they died.
These were the undead. They were mostly harmless at first;
Skeletons guarding their crypts
Werewolves pretending to be human in the day
Vampires... taking just a little from each human in a group
Then there were problems... Demon possession. This led to necromancers, summoning more undead. Dangerous ones too. Zombies, killing humans whenever they found them and eating their flesh. Sometimes the zombies were joined by werewolves.
The solution to the problem: undead Slayers. I was one for a short time, but then I met a certain Demon. His name was Arkarian. He had possessed the body of a vampire, and I fell in love with him.
