Thanksgiving the time to give thanks. That time of year when relative come and visit. You sit at the table with your family. You all hold hands do a prayer then give thanks. Not long till you hear your little cousin to pass the gravy, huh? Then there's the little dog who you like to feed secretly under the table even though your parents forbid it. Well its not like that at my house leem tell you.
Every Thanksgiving we have relatives come over and yes we do a prayer but we never sit at the table and eat....casseroles and canned yams ((Yech! Who ever came up with that? Regular yams are much better)). The adults will usually eat in what used to be my mother's shop where she did people's hair. They'll talk real loud in their while getting drunk. To make it better my dad set up a disco ball and lights in our downstairs den. Then the party really begins for the adults! The youngers kids and I will usually chill in the living room. My sister and I were playing Oldschool Nintendo (( blaugh Yay SuperMario3! blaugh )). Luckily things didn't get too rowdy. Actually the party ended pretty shortly around 11-12 P.M. But now we have to wait till Christmas. Then my family and I will have to travel to North Georgia to visit our cousins and yes their dad has a disco set up in their basement sweatdrop . I plan to stay home and avoid all that this year though.
