"Help me," I called to the figure standing before me.
My hands begin to sweat as the effprt to keep from
falling jumps to extrodinary lengths. The cliff has a
drop of over 80 thousand miles. I am holding onto
the edge of the rocks as my body hangs against the
tower of death.
My eyes begin to sting with the coming of salty tears.
"Please!" I call out again.
"Why?" he asks.
"Because I'm going to fall!" I reply.
"So?" he questions
"Help me! I don't want to die!"
"Why should I care?" he restorts.
"Because I love you!"
"So?"
"Don't you love me?"
"You are merely my lover, not my love."
"So you would let me fall to my death?"
"Why not?" were his final words.
And I fall.
