Going back and reading entries from the thirteen and fourteen year old me makes me realize that I used a lot of emoticons back then. I still use them on occasion now too but it is really funny when I will almost use one when I am writing a paper. It makes me feel stupid but I think it is funny at the same time.
It's been more than two years since the last time I wrote in this journal on here and I had a pretty uneventful two years. I guess you could call it eventful if you think taking a 5 day trip and staying in New York City is eventful. But it isn't in the sense of that that was the pretty much the only cool thing I have done in the last two years.
I guess you could call starting high school as eventful. It wasn't very much of a big change for me because I go to the same school I went to for middle school so the biggest difference really just was that now I get to wear more stylish uniform shirts and I can wear jeans and flip-flops. That's really it. I still get treated like a child even though I am sixteen and sophomore who is a Student Ambassador and acts very mature. I really don't appreciate being yelled at. Especially by teachers, and especially when they do it in front of the whole class. I hate be alienated by my teachers and classmates when I get yelled at for doing something that wasn't my fault. In the end I start to cry (which I hate doing in front of other people) and then the teacher feels like they can get away with yelling at me for other things that are completely off topic.
Well, to finish off this short review of the last two boring years of my life I will be taking a trip to Connecticut over this winter break and I will get to see snow for the first time. I am very excited and I will play in it until I get too cold. (Which will probably be like 5 minutes in to being out there because I am a super Florida girl and I really enjoy the warmer weather.
