Sleeping soundlessly on soil
filled with seeds of saplings,
they, sleeplessly sprouting
sportuitously 'gainst their peers.
I lay, asleep, the sprouts dug
furiously. Ne'er knowing a back
blocked their goal. A back, a
back. I imagine when they
burst they were taken aback..
The poor little seeds, not really
saplings at all, they sprouted
hard, hard into my back.
Crushed. Sprouts, sprouting
soundlessly, if I had heard, I
may have slept elsewhere...
