"Advice is a vice"
I don't give advice,
because there is so little
I know for certain--
like you, I am
flailing, floundering about
on the rocks,
taking one step forward,
two steps back,
three steps to the left,
stopping to catch my breath,
and falling to my knees,
ripping my hair out,
succumbing to the frustration
that I am out of control--
it was a trick of the mind
to think I could always do right,
but I guess it's better
to do what I can.
