GRR...
right.
so i joined the school newspaper...
they asked on a form we had to fill out, "what days are best for you to meet after school?"
well...
I asked monday (the day they said originally we would find out our positions and departments- which we didnt) and they said the meeting was to be on Wednessday (i.e. today) and not until.
this was good because i don't have anything else going on on wednessdays (other clubs i mean)
so then i was in Lit Mag yesterday...
and i was talking with some friends..
they were saying they couldn't do thursdays for extra meeting time.
they said it was because of the newspaper!
i said i thought it met on wednessdays because i had asked and that's what i was told...
well...
apparently he is their 7th period teacher and decided to change it.
normally this wouldnt bother me except my schedule is like this:
Mondays: dance @ 7:45
Tuesdays: Literary Magazine right after school and dance @ 7:30
Wednessdays: nothing (but soon i'll be joining a gym! yay!)
Thursdays: Student council every other week, class meetings, now the Newspaper, and starting next week- band camp at 6:30 (potential gym time once band camps end)
Fridays: football game (marching band) (potential gym time when football season is over)
Saturdays: band camp, various band activities if not band camp, and babysitting every now and then
Sundays: church (and helping out in the sunday school classes), and then youth group later at night
now looking at my thursday schedule...
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CHOOSES THURSDAY?
i don't want to seem selfish and they should organize around ME...that's not it at all....it's the fact that TONS OF OTHER THINGS AND CLUBS MEET ON THURSDAYS! THATS ALWAYS THE DAY THEY PICK! WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE THURSDAYS?!
grrrr.....so now i'm mad....i'll have to go to the newspaper late everyother thursday after student council...and if class meetings interfere, i'll have to stop attending those...which i wish i didnt have to, but i will be credited as being a part of the newspaper, unlike class meetings.
